京都市出身。同志社香里マンドリンクラブ入部後、14歳よりクラシックギターを始める。
クラシックギターを濱田圭、橋爪皓佐、Hugues Navez、諸氏に師事。和声（エクリチュール）をSalvatore Gioveni氏に師事。アナリーゼをEdwin Clapuyt氏に師事。作曲をTomas Friberg氏に師事。

同志社大学理工学部機械システム工学科卒業後、ブリュッセル王立音楽院ギター科学士課程三年次編入(飛び級入学)、ギター科、学士及び修士課程共に成績優秀で卒業。

公益社団法人日本ギター連盟正会員、日本ジュニア・ギター教育協会専門家会員。

日本、フランス、ベルギー、などで演奏活動中。

また、指導者としても活動しており、コンクール受賞者を輩出。

Born in Kyoto. After joining the Doshisha Kori Mandolin Club, started playing classical guitar at the age of 14.
Studied classical guitar under Kei Hamada, Kousuke Hashizume and Hugues Navez. Studied harmony (écriture) under Salvatore Gioveni. Studied analysis music under Edwin Clapuyt. Studied composition under Tomas Friberg.

Graduated from Doshisha University, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Department of Mechanical Systems Engineering, and then transferred to the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels for the third year of the Bachelor’s programme in guitar (skipping a grade), graduating with honours in both the Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes in guitar.

He is a regular member of the Japan Guitar Federation and an expert member of the Japan Junior Guitar Education Association.

Currently performing in Japan, France, Belgium and elsewhere.

He is also active as an instructor and has produced competition winners.
